Some (great) news for our Elementor users
We have some exciting news to share with our Ignition Framework users who prefer to build their sites with the popular Elementor page builder. We have just released an update to our Ignition Widgets for Elementor plugin which includes three new custom widgets. Along with it we have released the first six theme sample content bundles built entirely with Elementor. Read on for more info on both these updates.
Ignition Widgets for Elementor
The Ignition Widgets for Elementor plugin is a companion plugin offered for free to our Ignition Framework users. It was initially built to host the Post Types custom widget to help Elementor users to create post grids. Today we have released version 1.2.0 which bundles three more custom widgets along with some bug fixes. Let’s have a look at the new widgets.
Icon Box
The Icon Box custom element comes with a large list of custom icons, the same icons used in our GutenBee Icon Box custom block. Icons can be used to help visualize a feature or amenity, draw attention to a certain piece of content on the page etc, they can optionally be accompanied by a title and a description. The icon and its text are fully customizeable with sizing, color and typography options readily available.
Food Menu
The Food Menu custom element will help users build beautiful responsive menus and price-lists in a matter of minutes. To build a menu just select the number of columns you need and start filling in the required information for your first menu item, like a thumbnail, item name, price and description, rinse and repeat for the rest of them. Color and typography controls are available for menu item names, pricing and descriptions.
Taxonomy Terms
With the Taxonomy Terms element you can create grids from custom theme taxonomies and present them in any page you like. Usage is pretty simple, add the element to the page, select your preferred taxonomy, pick the terms you wish to display, set the desired number of columns and you are good to go.
Elementor based sample content bundles
To help you fully take advantage of the new custom elements provided by Ignition Widgets for Elementor we have built versions of some of our most popular themes entirely with Elementor. These demos are a testament to Ignition Framework’s flexibility and its compatibility with the popular page builder. Currently we have six elementor based theme demos available, these are: Aegean Resort, Convert, Business3ree, Salon, Roxima and Cousteau Pro. To import one of these demos you need to install the latest versions of the Ignition Framework, the Ignition Widgets for Elementor and of your preferred theme. Next install One Click Demo Import and navigate to Appearance > Import Demo Data.
Hover over the Elementor box, click Import Demo and the full Elementor based theme sample is just a few button pushes away.
